Continuing the visual research on the art of topiary, this new installment of "A Guide on Gardening" shifts its focus to explore the concept of Niwaki. Through photographic documentation of trees in Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo, the project examines how pruning practices transcend ornamental technique to embody principles of contemplation, harmony, and an intimate relationship with the environment.
