Irreversible Flipbook

Irreversible is a flipbook, a trompe l'oeil, a kinetic object and an invitation to reflection. Designed by Jaime Sebastián, this piece is presented as the first flipbook designed to operate in a single direction, thus emulating time itself. As you flip the pages forward, a card is consumed by fire; however, when trying to reverse the movement, the optical illusion breaks and the paper remains burned.

An addictive loop that transforms a simple gesture into a reminder of the irreversibility of our actions.
