No Paradise Without Palm Trees is a publication that aims to reflect on the social meaning of the palm tree as an icon of paradise, trying to explore the impact generated by the acceptance of these meanings related to the exoticization of the Canary Islands. The objective is to use the palm tree as an excuse to discuss different current problems of the islands, supported by the voices and images of various artists and writers from the islands.

With contributions from: Andrea Alvarado, Ampi Aristu, Arico, Carmelo Vega, Daniel L Fleitas, Jonay PMatos, Lilia Ana Ramos, María Tomé, Pablo Estévez, Tallulah Mae Ellis and Raymond Rojas. A project by Santanasantana supported and distributed by Handshake.
