FOSC
Javier Hedrosa and Néstor García
FOSC is a project that investigates and reflects on the role of the performing arts spectator, the archive, and the individual and collective memory of the theatrical experience. Therefore, its initial translation is a stage play in which different spectators narrate the memories that you now hold in your hands in book form.
The main question is: what is remembered about a performance? Considering that its main characteristic is its ephemeral nature, a play is produced, premiered, repeated, and then nothing remains. This book aims to transfer the experience of a person who has lived through FOSC in a theater—along with other spectators—to any other space where this book can be read, and in which each reader involves their body, fostering an intimate relationship with the text.
